The “Decorate Your Yard!” contest is divided into three categories: residents, municipalities, and companies established in Acadia of the Lands and Forests. On August 4th, one participant from each category and each region will be randomly chosen. The winners will receive the following prizes: 2 VIP passes to the show of one of the pillars days and a gift basket (resident category), $250 for a community activity (municipality category), and 4 CMA 2014 bracelets (company category).

The residents, municipalities, and companies who wish to apply must send us at least one picture of their decorated area(s) before 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) on August 3rd at the following address: [email protected].

The Congrès mondial acadien is a gathering held every five years uniting the Acadian diaspora from all over the world. Many activities are planned over a two week period, i.e. from August 8th to the 24th, 2014. The event draws on the community’s commitment and promotes the Acadian culture, heritage and amenities.
