Description: The 2014 Congrès Mondial Acadien and Les Marcheurs de la République Inc. Club will soon announce a jointly planned program for a Walk and Run around the World, a sportive activity sponsored by Les Marcheurs de la République Club during the WAC 2014.
Walkers and runners from l'Acadie des terres et forêts regions and their friends around the world will be invited to register their distance electronically on a daily basis, adding to the total kilometers covered every day.
From June 2, they will walk from 9:00am to 10:00am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. During the CMA 2014, from 8 to 24 August, they walk every day from 9:00am to 10:00am at the track and field of the CDJ. TheThis challenge will start in Edmundston, go through all Canadian provinces, Alaska, Russia, Cambodia, Africa, South America and the United States to arrive in Madawaska, Maine. These are just a few points of reference the walkers and runners will visit during the tour.
