Homerun for the CMA 2014!

Edmundston (NB) – The Congrès mondial acadien 2014 will have first pitch on July 18th at the Edmundston Turgeon stadium where the Edmundston Républicains Sports Experts will face the Cabano Braves (Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac). The Acadia of the Lands and Forests population is therefore invited to attend this dual between both of our regional teams of the Bas-Saint-Laurent Puribec baseball league.

Among the multiple family reunions, community activities, and shows, the Congrès mondial acadien 2014 includes a substantial sports component in its program. “This baseball game is in a way a small preview of the numerous sports activities for all ages that will be a part of the 2014 festivities”, says Emilien Nadeau, CMA 2014 president.

While the Républicains Sports Experts will battle for their first victory, the spectators will have the chance to see the organizing committee president in action as he pitches the game’s first ball, and win various Congrès mondial acadien 2014 themed prizes.

“We wish luck to both teams! The Congrès mondial acadien 2014 will certainly be the most sports oriented one yet! May the best team win!” says CMA 2014 executive director Léo Paul Charest.

The people who want more information on the multiple activities in the Congrès mondial acadien 2014 sports component can visit the sports component page on the Congrès mondial acadien 2014' Web site: http://cma2014.com/fr/programmation/volet-sportif. Reminder: the preliminary program will be launched in August 2013.

The game will take place at the Edmundston Turgeon stadium at 8:30 p.m. (NB time). Come meet with the Congrès mondial acadien 2014’ team, which will be onsite for the occasion, and encourage the two Acadia of the Lands and Forests teams!
