Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac (QC) – The Musée du Témiscouata is proud/pleased to announce an investment of $50,000 from the 2014 Congrès mondial acadien for the creation of a permanent exhibition.
Since closing its doors to the public in 2012, the team of the Musée du Témiscouata is working towards its reopening through a new permanent exhibition, which would focus mainly on the forestry industry uniting the communities of the Témiscouata region, of northwestern New Brunswick and the Aroostook County in Maine. In the last few months, the team has worked very hard collecting testimonies from forestry workers on the territory of Acadia of the Lands and Forests.
