    Edmundston (NB) – The 3 Artists, 3 Territories show’s first songs will be played tomorrow in Acadia of the Lands and Forests. The tour will officially be launched tomorrow afternoon in Dégelis, Quebec, where Pascal Lejeune, Patrice Michaud, and Denny Breau will perform together onstage for the first time.

    Edmundston (N.B.) - The Congrès mondial acadien (CMA) 2014 will welcome the Acadia of the world with NorState Federal Credit Uninon by its side. Mr. Emilien Nadeau, President of the CMA 2014 and Mr. David Rossignol, CEO of NorState Federal Credit Union, have officialised, today, their partnership which will contribute to the success of this major gathering.

    NorState Federal Credit Union therefore becomes a Gold Partner of the Congrès mondial acadien 2014 by its financial  and expertise contribution of $ 150,000.

     
  • New message center: The result of a fruitful collaboration!

    Edmundston (N.B.) – It is under a spirit of collaboration that the Congrès mondial acadien 2014 has unveiled this morning, in partnership with the Université de Moncton, Edmundston campus and the Pattison Sign Group, the message center which is providing an invaluable tool for the promotion of the activities of 2014. This strategically located display is a perfect example of collaboration between the three parties involved to ensure a legacy to Acadia of the Lands and Forests after the passage of the Congrès mondial acadien on its territory.

    Edmundston (N.B.) – The general public can obtain today their passes for the August 15, 2013 show in Saint-Quentin in New Brunswick. The passes for this pre-congress show are now available, free, on our web site at www.cma2014.com/carte-blanche-a-l-acadie, and on Monday at the office of the Festival Western and at the tourism center in Saint-Quentin, or at the offices of the CMA 2014 at 165 Hébert Boulevard in Edmundston.

    Edmundston (NB) – The Congrès mondial acadien 2014 (CMA 2014) is seeking support from the population of Acadia of the Lands and Forests in order to create a data base for private accommodations. People who have a room(s), house or cottage(s) available for the seventeen days of the CMA 2014 will be able to register simply by filling out the form available on our Web site at: http://www.cma2014.com/fr/hebergementprive.

  • Maine's August 15, show moves to the Multi-Purpose Bulding Grounds

    St. John Valley (ME) – At the last meeting of the Executive Committee of the Congrès mondial acadien 2014 (CMA 2014), it was decided to relocate the show of August 15, 2014, which was to be presented on a site in the St. David sector, on the grounds adjacent to the Multi-Purpose Building on 7th Avenue in Madawaska.

     
  • The CMA 2014, on the road with the tour “3 artists, 3 territories”

    Edmundston (N.B.) – Pascal Lejeune, Patrice Michaud and Denny Breau are taking to the road this summer for the tour "3 artists, 3 territories", from July 4 to July 19, 2013. Sponsored by the Heritage and Outdoor projects of the Congrès mondial acadien (CMA) 2014, this unifying initiative will allow the three artists to perform on 12 stages in Acadia of the Atlantic, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region in Québec and in the state of Maine in the United States.
