One way: Seminars and Conferences

The Congrès mondial acadien 2014 gives a privileged place as much to the popular major events as to the festive meetings between Acadians. In August 2014, in Acadia of the Lands and Forests, it will also be a time for exchanges surrounding major questions about the future of Acadie from an economic, social, and professional point of view.

The seminars and conferences component of the Congrès mondial acadien serves as a meeting point for these reflections, according to the Seminars and Conferences Coordinator for the Congrès mondial acadien 2014, Michaël Dubé.

“This component gives Acadians and their friends from the entire world a chance to meet inside a timely place and discuss the great set of themes of Acadie and those of Acadia of the Lands and Forests,” says Dubé.

Thanks to seven seminars and conferences, the component targets not only Acadie’s challenges, but also its achievements and initiatives. It is a golden opportunity to share ideas. For the general public, this event will allow them to deepen their knowledge of the future Acadie, the nurse profession in Acadie, the evolution of forest management, sustainable development challenges, realities in local governments, the place given to parks in the 21st century, and other major agriculture and agri-food questions.

Throughout the two weeks of the CMA 2014, this unique meeting, which is open to everyone, highlights the idea of Acadie of the world, a new Acadie.
