ExpoMONDE 2014: the CMA 2014' International Showcase
The E. & P. Sénéchal Centre in Grand Falls, N.B. will take on a new look and use from August 14th to 23rd, while ExpoMONDE , the international showcase of the Congrès mondial acadien 2014, will occupy its space to inform and entertain children and adults.
ExpoMONDE will be the perfect place during the grand celebrations to discover the many facets of the CMA 2014' partners through Canada, Maine, New Brunswick and Quebec pavilions. It will also be possible to enjoy the cultural colors and peculiarities of France, Louisiana, Atlantic Acadian territories and the region of Bretagne in the department of Vienne, which have already confirmed their participation. This is also an opportunity for other organizations and institutions to get known by more people ofAcadia of the Lands and Forests, as well as thousands of visitors attending the Congress.
Genealogy enthusiasts, authentic experience seekers and arts adventurers will also be overwhelmed with the Pavilion of Genealogy, the Pavilion of Arts, and l'Espace Expérience-ACADIE. They will respectively greet experts in genealogy, a range of community and cultural organizations and exhibition spaces for visual arts.
The Children's playground will certainly not go unnoticed with its inflatable games and a few "extreme" activities for thrill seekers. The public will also have the opportunity to take off on helicopter tours
ExpoMONDE would not be complete without a large outdoor stage that renowned and local artists will share daily from noon to 11:30 pm. The CMA 2014 organizers are proud to showcase Acadia of the Lands and Forests'favorites, such as Sébastien Bérubé, Valérie Lavoie, Damn Old Brew, Boréal Tordu, as well as more established artists such as Lisa Leblanc, Hay Babies, Roland Gauvin et le big band and many others who will perform to the ejoyment of all visitors.
In addition, organizations, businesses, social groups or artisans who would like to hold a booth space during ExpoMONDE can fill out the form. The ExpoMONDE will be closed on August 15 on the occasion of National Acadian Day.
